A success, of sorts, in the war on P

It was announced today that Customs officers had intercepted over a tonne of pseudoephedrine for the first time in a calendar year. The amount intercepted at the border in 2009 was enough to manufacture 246 kilograms of P, with a street value of at least $138 million.

Figures that are hard to fathom perhaps, but all you have to do is look at those families affected by this drug to see the true value of waging this campaign – and the costs of not doing so.

Well done to those on the frontline fighting the good fight.
